Hello again witches, seekers, and friends, and welcome to The Fat Feminist Witch podcast, the show where we do a little ranting, raving, and wand-waving. I’m your host, Paige, and together we are going to explore magic and spirituality, social justice, the psychic realm, and most importantly – books!
Specifically, of course, witchy books! Not just the modern ones we love to read, or the ancient ones we love to try to interpret, but also the ones we write ourselves – our grimoires, journals, and books of shadows.
I talk about some of the histories of magical texts up until the 20th century when Gerald Gardner introduced the world to Wicca and the Wiccans to the Book of Shadows. I’ve got a great little ritual you can use to bless or consecrate your own book that’s perfect for the full moon on Friday the 13th.
