Today’s episode is all about everyone’s not-so-favourite emotion – ANGER. Where it comes from, why we get angry, and why you shouldn’t just banish your anger, but use it as a potent source of magickal power. For example, I am angry at myself for continuously saying this is episode number 34 all the way through this thing, but c’est la vie!)
According to a very wise spiritual leader “Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”, but is it really that cut and dry? (yes, that’s a Yoda quote. Sorry, Master Yoda!)
Chronic Positivity Culture has been teaching witches how to banish their anger, ignore negatiivity and negative emotions, and try to turn their anger into more “productive” emotions like forgiveness. We’ve all heard that magick shouldn’t be done out of anger. Anger has no place in spirituality. Anger is not divine.

Well fuck that.
Here’s the truth: anger is important. Refusing to feel and acknowledge anger has drastic consequences for our own mental health. Magick can be a fantastic tool for using, acknowledging, and honouring your anger. When you’re ready, it can also help you release and heal that anger.
